I love this store. I’ve gone here for 3 years now almost every week spending almost $300 monthly. I’ve had issue before we squash it and figure out a solution immediately nothing serious. I’ve forgotten my id before and sent home to grab it a few times (I understand its policy) but this time was different. I newer lady I’ve never seen before, nice at 1st says “hey and hi and what do you need” before finishing up her 1st customer. I said “oh nothing just a purple pre roll, ring him up and I’ll be fast” so she knew at this point I’m a customer and what I’m buying. Once I’m about to purchase after putting in my number she asks my id (I didn’t have it on my this time my fault) I ask if she can see that I’m a diamond member and yesterday have bought the same thing. Her response pulled me back….she immediately went to insult my job uniform (manager for a restaurant next door) and that I was holding a delivery bag (i walk home easier to carry my food and extra jackets) she said “you know you definitely need an id to drive and only someone who is younger would make an excuse why they don’t have it, you just look too young idk” which I thought was weird. I’ve only ever been ID for Mobile orders and explained that is what I have heard. And what their last employee explained to me (my last issue was I didn’t have an Id for a mobile, walked home got it no biggie) she then kept going and doubled down to insult the other crew member whom I mentioned. Worst part she did it with a smile as if this was a highlight of their day. After saying okay. You can see the camera where I try to pull back and leave and she just continues to insult me (5:20pm Monday the 15th) I was annoyed and left to get my ID. It didn’t end there. I asked for customers support so I could call and leave my response. Before I can continue she says “I’m already talking to her don’t you worry!” She’s holding my ID this entire time. In fact I didn’t revive my ID until the transaction was over. While on the call with my id still she’s telling her manager about the situation leaving out specific details of her insults to me. After talking to sandy who said she’ll watch the taps. The call ended, and still then the employee didn’t stop. She took her time as along as she could (made the man behind me wait) if your cameras have audio you’ll hear her slam her nails on the Pc. I tried to apologize. I genuinely tried to apologize because i know I’ll be at this location and don’t want any drama. Not only did she refuse my apology, she refused to allow me to tip. She specifically said “an interaction like this is a tip in plenty for me” are you serious!?! This was the last straw for me. I tried to make the situation better but she refused and fought each step. This was an embarrassing and humiliating experience from a store I enjoy and came to love. I love this location and the employees are amazing. Y’all are really neat I mean I’ve seen y’all almost everyday for 3 years. Idk something about this interaction was just hurtful This whole situation was gross. I didn’t need to be put on speaker phone with Sandy so the customer behind me could hear how I felt. It was extremely disrespectful to everyone involved. So to the random customer who had to wait cause of this interaction I’d like to apologize.
