EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! The one star is solely because the cashier was very pleasant. I visited Smoke Envy today and initially had a pleasant interaction with the cashier, who was polite and tried to be helpful. Unfortunately, the situation afterward was handled very poorly by management. I purchased two products totaling about $49.65. I was informed at checkout that the store does not use an electronic payment system and only accepts Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, or cash. I completed the purchase and left. Shortly after, I realized both products were defective and did not work. I returned to the store, gave the items back, and requested a refund. The cashier explained that the refund had to be approved by a manager who was not present. He stated he sent all the details to the manager and promised that I would be refunded. He took my name and phone number and assured me I would hear back. It has now been several hours, and I have received no refund, no call, and no response. Calls are not being answered, and there has been no follow-up at all. While the cashier did what he could, the lack of response from management is unacceptable. Selling faulty products is one issue, but failing to follow through on a promised refund and ignoring a customer afterward is not okay. I am still waiting on my refund and hope management reaches out to resolve this immediately. (Update: I was visibly frustrated with things not moving as fast as promised. However the owner did reach out to me, as well as the cashier. They did refund me in full with no other obligations. I am happy that they are honest people and did not hold me accountable, but themselves for something neither of us did wrong exactly. As faulty product is no one’s fault. I am wholeheartedly understanding of how business is ran and what it takes. I’m just happy it got resolved. Otherwise. They are a great smoke shop).
