I've been in contact with this company for several years & a few of their employees are familiar with the advocacy work I do. Finding THC-free products that can help with chronic pain, ptsd & addictions (homeless/trauma community) was the goal and determining how knowledgeable they were usually resulted in positive outcomes with the most at-risk/vulnerable populations, but instead shown a lack of knowledge & also no interest in increasing their own awareness regarding a potentially dangerous product they're selling. It's FEEL FREE/KAVA which I've heard in the community & wanted to seek it out. If combined with specific medications like Xanax can cause liver problems & while it's still not FDA approved, the info that is available was not apparent in the sales team that day, instead stating it's a stimulant when in fact it's a depressant. How I learned of this is when a nurse informed me during a time when I was a non-reader, but was also able to show me a simple search that anyone could've done to check its safety. Sharing this with the company (review) & specific sales person (BZ), asking them to confirm they understand the potential risks & confirm they would update their personal knowledge to share with their clients (easiest solution) led to a non-response. When there was some acknowledgement I was meant with anger & claims of how difficult life was at the moment. I can sympathize but off-topic. Their refusal to accept the information with no consequence from me was kind of shocking. Support companies that know their product well. Save yourself frustration & worry they are just using people who again, are the most at-risk, vulnerable populations. The reason why I do this advocacy is for some older populations there's stigma with these types of stores or a lot of mistreatment in Western medicine or not enough knowledge of holistic options to truly tackle their issues to have a happy, full & pain-free life.
